After a 6-month trial at Southwark Crown Court, our client was found not guilty on all counts

After a 6-month trial at Southwark Crown Court, our client was found unanimously not guilty on all counts yesterday, while the two co-defendants, represented by other firms, were convicted and will be sentenced in due course.

Mary Tmaira, Managing Partner of Alexander Bennett Solicitors (pictured above), who represented the client and instructed counsel, worked tirelessly with barristers Tim Clark KC and Graham Smith, to prepare the defence case, which involved over 100,000 pages of complex evidence. The case was the first in a series of trials being prosecuted by the CPS Specialist Fraud Unit.
